Sr. Backend Django Engineer

We are looking for a talented Python Engineer who can come in to write clean/scalable code using the Python/Django stack. This person will be building and deploying new applications and be a key member to our growing development team. This person will ideally have good experience with REST API development. This person will work closely with the product management and customer success teams to deploy new features based on customer needs.

• Writing clean and scalable backend code using Python and Django
• Make daily contributions to our codebase
• Increase developer velocity through automation/integration, communication and lower deployment friction.  We deploy weekly but want you to help us move faster
• Participate and lead in architecture design and development with a focus on robustness, scalability and security
• Work on projects that move the needle

Ideal Candidate:

• 5+ year of Python experience
• 2+ year Django experience
• Loves to design and build software features
• Ambitious and wants to fast track their career
• Proactive in taking ownership of tasks and taking them to completion
• Self  managed problem solving (figuring things out on your own)
• Not afraid to go outside their required duties to get things done
• Wants to be part of a startup

• Django Rest Framework

• SQL expertise, query optimization 
• ERD design
• Stored Procedures
• Collaboration and clear communication skills.  We have both local and remote developers
• Application Performance Monitoring

• Identifying domain model boundaries
• Familiar with Vue.js
• ETL we are using DBT
