VP of Sales

Journeyfront is a fast-growing enterprise software startup on a mission to transform the way the world thinks about the importance of hiring right – and how to do it. As a hiring platform, Journeyfront helps companies predict candidate performance, job satisfaction, and retention using a variety of different data-driven, customizable hiring tools: assessments, skills tests, job previews/simulations, interview tools, etc.

We are hiring a Vice President of Sales who will be responsible for driving top-line revenue growth and leading a growing sales team. This person will report directly to the CEO and will collaborate closely with other leaders and departments within the Company: Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Science, etc.

Responsibilities

Recruiting & Leadership

  • Recruit, coach, mentor, manage, and retain a world-class team of sales professionals capable of meeting/exceeding sales targets
  • Build a sales culture that’s positive, motivating, and performance-driven
  • Foster positive, high performance culture across rest of company through example and influence, working side-by-side with other Senior Leadership

Sales Process Design, Management, and Optimization

  • Develop and executive successful sales strategy to consistently achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Set goals/KPIs, commission plans, and monitor progress against goals 
  • Develop and administer sales trainings
  • Join sales reps on sales calls, for training purposes and to assist in closing deals
  • As needed, drive and successful close large sales opportunities 
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS Sales
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales management position (Director of Sales or above) 
  • Proven track record in B2B sales and sales management
  • Proven track record of closing 6 and 7-figure B2B software deals
  • Proven track record of recruiting and managing quota-hitting sales team
  • Experience working in fast-growing startup environment (preferably Series A-B stage company)
  • Excellent leadership skills 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Superior sales skills 
  • Scrappy and determined – not afraid to step in and do what it takes to achieve goals
