Job Openings Page
A new job openings page will allow users to customize and brand their own job openings page which will allow candidates to browse all of your open job reqs. Each job req will have a new landing page where all of the information on the page can be customizable. Candidates will be able to apply from the job landing page.
Skills Tests Activity
New skills tests activity type. Skills tests will be standardized tests which can have multiple sections. When a candidate completes a specific skills test on one job application, they will not have to complete it again when moving or applying to another job req. Skills tests will have the ability to have multiple sections inside with individual time limits and instructions.

Updated the action items within SmartReqs to provide more clarity on what the action does. The action item "Delete" was renamed to "Delete SmartReq" along with a few other name changes.
Statistical Significance Value Added to Correlation Dashboards
Added new statistical significance value to our Attributes, and Interview Questions correlation dashboards. This value shows how likely the correlation value is due to chance or not. The value is displayed as "p=0.XXX". The value will range from 0 to 1. The closer the value is to 0 the less likely the correlation is due to chance. The "*" or "**" symbols will be added to the correlation value if the statistical significance is good.

Pathways Supervisor Security Level

Applicants Page (Beta)
New page has been added to the main header labeled "Applicants". This page is a way to view all applicants across all smartreqs that the viewer has access to. This page allows searching and sorting functionality. This page is intended to be the easiest location to find and sort applicants.
Improve Profile Measurement Plan Setup
Overhauled the Job Profile Measurement Plan Setup to match the flow that is in the SmartReq Screening Plan Setup. This will improve the user experience and add cohesion across the application.
Number Response Types for Employee Performance Questions
Added Number response type to Employee Performance Questions within Job Profiles. This will add the ability to input a numeric value when conducting a Performance Review and the score will be automatically calculated based on the imputed value and scoring thresholds.
Loader Added when Applicant Begins Application
Added a loader after an applicant clicks the “Continue” button to start their application. This is intended to give the user feedback that the application is being set up and prevent them from clicking the “Continue” button again.
Optimized how questions are loaded within Setup
Questions within the setup of the Screening plan and Measurement plan are now loaded in segments instead of all at once. This is to improve performance and reduce the load time when setting up a screening plan or measurement plan.
View and Download Original Resume File
Added the ability to view and download an applicant's original resume file. This can be found on the Resume tab within an applicant's scorecard. This feature will only be available going forward and will not apply retroactively to applicants.
Export SmartReq Data
Added the ability to export SmartReq data as a .csv file. Within a SmartReq a new button in the Actions menu has been added labeled "Export Data". This will allow the user to download the list of applicants as a .csv file. The file will include the applicant's name, email, application date, overall score, status, rejection reason, % complete, and more.
Detect Applicant's Default Browser Language
Applicant's default browser language will be detected and if it is Spanish, Journeyfront will be set to Spanish for the applicant automatically.
Video Response Question Messaging
Added message to Video Response Screening Questions that notifies the applicant if another application is using their connected video camera or microphone which prevents them from answering the question.
New Applicant Experience UI
Updated the UI for the applicant experience. New header design and new main applicant home page. When an applicant logs in from the default Journeyfront login page, they will now be directed to a new home page that displays a list of all of the user's applications where they will be able to click on an application to begin. When an applicant logs in from an invite link, they will be directed to the beginning of that application. Upon finishing an application and clicking "All Done" the user will then be directed to the home page that lists all of their applications.
Error Message When Video Response Fails to Upload
If a video response from an applicant fails to upload for any reason, an error will appear on the scorecard notifying the scorer that there was an error when the applicant attempted to upload a video. The applicant will be allowed to finish their application and not get stuck mid-process if this happens. This update is to catch very small edge cases and give the scorer more insight as to if there was a problem within an applicant's video response.
Change Step Action
Added a Change Step action on the Applicants page within SmartReqs. This allows users to change the step of multiple applicants at the same time by clicking the checkbox next to each desired applicant and then clicking Change Step.
Number Response Type Limit Increase to 10
Number response type answers can now be up to 10 digits instead of 4.
Show Hire date and Start Date on Scorecard
When an applicant is hired, the hire date and start date appear on the header of the Scorecard. The Hire Date and start date can also be edited from the Scorecard.
Rejected applicants will no longer receive reminder emails
Rejected applicants will no longer receive reminder emails to complete their applications.

Reminder emails to complete an application will no longer be sent from Archived Smartreqs.
Performance Review UI Update
Added an info icon next to Outcome names within the performance review. When hovered over it will allow users to see the Outcome description as well as the full Outcome name if it has been cut off.
Adding and Deleting Questions in Setup Optimization
Reduced load time when adding or deleting a question within a screening plan.
Audio Response Type
Added a new response type to screening questions called Audio Response. This will allow applicants to record an audio clip to answer a screening question. The recorded audio clips can then be found and scored under the Screenings tab of the scorecard.
Automatic Email Notification When an Applicant Completes Application
Added the ability to enable email notifications for a specific Smartreq. These notifications will trigger when an applicant completes their application within that SmartReq that the notifications were turned on for. This will allow users to be notified via email right when an application is complete and can click to view the applicant's scorecard from the email.
Timed Questions Fix and Optimization
The timed question functionality was re-worked and made more secure. Previously, through a series of specific steps applicants were able to get back into a question that was timed out and alter their answer. Increased measures have been made to ensure this is not possible anymore.
Manually Scoring Questions Optimization
We have improved the process of manually scoring questions on the screening tab within the scorecard by removing the full-screen loader and speeding up the load time. This will benefit all users that manually score Screening Questions by reducing the time it takes to do so.
Video Response Type Optimizations
Reduced the load time of video responses on the scorecard. The video responses from applicants will now load and buffer more quickly to allow for faster viewing of video responses.

Interview Question Templates
Added the ability to create templates for interview questions. These templates can be created in company settings.
Multi-Select Response Type
Added a new response type for screening questions called Multi-Select. This will allow applicants to choose more than one answer to the question.
Delete Activity Scores on the Scorecard
Added the ability to delete scores on a scorecard at the activity level in the Steps tab. This will allow the applicant to re-take the activity with the deleted score without having to retake the entire screening plan.

Select a Status and a Screening Step in the Applicant Filtering

Company Usage Dashboard For JF Admins

Screening Plan Preview:
Added a Preview button on the screening plan setup page. This allows users to preview the entire screening plan from the setup page. The preview mimics the applicant experience.

Added a new dashboard to Smartreqs called "Interview Dashboard BETA".
Removed account creation on the general login page:
Removed the ability to create new accounts from the Journeyfront general login page.
Added users Linkedin to Scorecard:
Applicants that added their LinkedIn accounts to their profile will now have a Linkedin icon on their scorecard that links to their LinkedIn page. Secondary email addresses are now displayed within the scorecard as well.
Question character length increase:
The character limit for screening questions has now been increased.
Changed the sort order of jobs in the My Progress tracker:
The sort order of jobs in the progress tracker now is by the level of completion instead of alphabetical. The least completed job will be at the top of the list and the most completed job will be at the bottom of the list. When logging in using the general login page applicants will default to the least completed job.

Typing Test:
Custom typing tests can now be created and added to company settings under the Measurements tab. The ability to add a Typing Test activity has been added to the screening plan. These custom typing tests can then be added to a screening plan within that activity. Typing tests measure both Typing Speed and Typing Accuracy.
Language Assessments:
The ability to add a Language Assessment activity has been added to the screening plan. Emmersion's Automated Language Testing is now integrated with Journeyfront and Language Assessments can now be added to any screening plan. The Language Assessments include English Writing, English Speaking, Portuguese Speaking, French Speaking, Spanish Speaking, Mandarin Speaking, German Speaking, Italian Speaking, and Japanese Speaking.
Print Ability for Job Performance Data :
A print button has been added within the Job Performance Tab allowing the User to print Job Performance Data.
Knockout Screening Questions:
Knockout options have been added to screening questions. Within a screening question Admins can mark any of the options as a Knockout and if the applicant selects a knockout option they will be automatically rejected.
Screening Question Sections on Applicant Scorecard
The screenings tab on the applicant scorecard now has distinct sections for different screening question activities. This allows users to group and view questions together. An example of how this is useful would be a job simulation set of questions and a skills test set of questions. This new feature allows a user to view and score those different types of questions separately.
Improvements to Screening Question Sorting on Applicant Scorecard
The screenings tab on the applicant scorecard now allows questions to be sorted by the order they were asked, the question itself, and the attribute that was measured. This gives users more flexibility to view the data in the most useful way.
Customization Available on the Applicant Landing Page
The welcome message on the applicant landing page now accepts HTML formatting, images, and video to allow for a more custom welcome experience.
Supporting Content Panel for Screening questions
When setting up screening questions in a SmartReq there is not a section where supporting content can be aded that will be visible on the left side of a users screen when answering any screening questions within a particular activity. This allows more flexibility when designing custom screening instruments.
Satisfaction Notifications
Users now have the option to have automated satisfaction invitations and reminders sent to employees after they have worked a certain number of months at a company. This makes it easier to collect satisfaction data from employees at the appropriate time based on their start date. This automated invitation is turned on at the job profile level and results in participants receiving a system generated notification inviting them to provide feedback about their experience at a company.
Updates to timed screening questions
The time allotted to a user on a timed screening question now starts when a user looks at a question and doesn't stop until the time expires. The timer no longer stops when the user closes out of the current question or proceeding to the next question.
Delete Job from participants page
A delete option for Participant Jobs has been added to participants page. This allows the user to delete one, or multiple Participant Jobs from the participant page.
De-coupling of Scoring Criteria from Account Settings
All scoring criteria saved in company settings are now separate from scoring criteria added to specific SmartReqs. This allows more customization and flexibility for scoring at the SmartReq level.
Last performance date added to participant table
A participants last performance date is now available on the participants table in the job profile. This allows users to know which participants have performance data and when it was last updated.

Job profile performance cohort dashboards now have a filter for performance type and performance period. This allows users to understand how their specific performance is changing over time. The performance period also allows users to look at the performance since hire date to get a better sense of how different groups perform at a given point from their hire date. To access this data navigate to profiles > select a Profile > Dashboard > Performance.

On the participants profile > performance page there is a new view of performance data that shows aggregated performance by reviews and by outcomes. This allows for multiple performance reviewers and aggregation across reviewers and shows the data in the scorecard view similar to the Applicant ScoreCard for easier comprehension of the data.

Time Limit on Screening Questions
Screening questions now have the option to have a time limit. If a question has a time limit an applicant will see a countdown showing the time remaining on the specific question so they know there is a time limit. When the time runs out, any answers will be saved and the user will be automatically advanced to the next question. Screening questions answers and the time used by an applicant are also saved in real time so if the user exits, or there is an interruption in connectivity, the user can start where they left off and net receive any additional time.
Add Custom Image to Each SmartReq Landing Page
Users can now add a custom image for each SmartReq that will appear in the applicant landing page when someone applies to the position. This allows for more customizable branding on each req. If a custom image is not selected the company default image will be shown.

No Applicant Reminder Emails for Manually Added Applicants
: When an applicant clicks on a Journeyfront application link and applies for a position on the Journeyfront platform they receive email reminders for 3 days if they do not complete their application process. When applicants are manually added as an applicant by an administrator, those applicants do not receive emails reminding them to complete their application.
Update to Adding Attributes to SmartReq
: On the SmartReq attributes plan page (Hire > SmartReq > Setup > Attributes) the adding of new attributes user experience has been updated to make adding and creating attributes faster and more seamless with the rest of the setup flow.

Ask for company email when hired
: When an applicant is marked as hired the admin that marked the applicant as hired will be asked to enter a company email address. This new feature adds two new fields to the employee job profile so a user can add the reason an employee left and leave any notes. This data will be used in upcoming reports and analysis.

View All Screening Questions
: The applicant scorecard just got a bit more exciting. There is now a new tab on the applicant scorecard that shows you all of the applicant screening questions in a single view. Previously you would have to hover over each applicant question to see the full responses. This feature will make it easier to review the applicant responses to your custom screening questions.
Score Qualitative Screening Questions
: When an applicant answers a qualitative screening questions like "why are you interested in this position?" or "what are your salary expectations" these answers were not factored into the overall applicant score. Since the responses can vary infinitely it requires another person to read and decide how good the answer is. With the introduction of scoring qualitative screening questions you can now review and score each of those questions. This means more data can be factored into your applicant score and tracked through the process.
New Way To Start Interviews
: Making sure every interviewer has the right link to the interview guide they need to use to evaluate an applicant can be a complicated process. To make it a little bit easier we have create a new way for interviewers to find and start a great interview. This includes a single link that every interviewer can use. They are asked which candidate they are interviewing and which guide they would like to use. They can even see a preview of the guide before getting started. This makes it easier to get your interviewers record all that great data right inside the Journeyfront product.

Updated Score Tile Color Threshold
: Working with our science team we have develops a more helpful threshold system for showing score colors throughout the system. Before a score of 3 would receive a color of grey to show an average score. Not great but not bad. This new update now aligns with the hiring decisions and would show a score of 3 as light green since someone who scores a 3 meets the expectations of the evaluation. The new color thresholds do not alter any scoring, they just give an extra bit of visual feedback to help interpret all your hiring data.
