This validator will catch any potential issues that exist within the applicant's screening question answers such as a blank answer. The applicant will then have the opportunity to re-answer questions that failed validation. This will reduce the chances of applicants having problems with an application.

    • When on the Attributes page within a SmartReq, the page height would not expand to allow users to add attributes to groups near the bottom of the page.

The closer the value is to 0 the less likely the correlation is due to chance. The "*" or "**" symbols will be added to the correlation value if the statistical significance is good.

  • New Applicant Experience UI: Updated the UI for the applicant experience. New header design and new main applicant home page. When an applicant logs in from the default Journeyfront login page, they will now be directed to a new home page that displays a list of all of the user's applications where they will be able to click on an application to begin. When an applicant logs in from an invite link, they will be directed to the beginning of that application. Upon finishing an application and clicking "All Done" the user will then be directed to the home page that lists all of their applications.
  • Error Message When Video Response Fails to Upload: If a video response from an applicant fails to upload for any reason, an error will appear on the scorecard notifying the scorer that there was an error when the applicant attempted to upload a video. The applicant will be allowed to finish their application and not get stuck mid-process if this happens. This update is to catch very small edge cases and give the scorer more insight as to if there was a problem within an applicant's video response.
  • Bug Fixes:
    • Screening question that uses a video for the question content and a video response failing to be answerable.
    • Applicant's attribute score within a predictive modal being N/A causes the blue icon to display in wrong position.

  • Audio Response Type: Added a new response type to screening questions called Audio Response. This will allow applicants to record an audio clip to answer a screening question. The recorded audio clips can then be found and scored under the Screenings tab of the scorecard.
  • Automatic Email Notification When an Applicant Completes Application:  Added the ability to enable email notifications for a specific Smartreq. These notifications will trigger when an applicant completes their application within that SmartReq that the notifications were turned on for. This will allow users to be notified via email right when an application is complete and can click to view the applicant's scorecard from the email.
  • Timed Questions Fix and Optimization: The timed question functionality was re-worked and made more secure. Previously, through a series of specific steps applicants were able to get back into a question that was timed out and alter their answer. Increased measures have been made to ensure this is not possible anymore.

  • Manually Scoring Questions Optimization:  We have improved the process of manually scoring questions on the screening tab within the scorecard by removing the full-screen loader and speeding up the load time.   • Improvements to Screening Question Sorting on Applicant Scorecard:  The screenings tab on the applicant scorecard now allows questions to be sorted by the order they were asked, the question itself, and the attribute that was measured.   • Supporting Content Panel for Screening questions:  When setting up screening questions in a SmartReq there is not a section where supporting content can be aded that will be visible on the left side of a users screen when answering any screening questions within a particular activity. This allows more flexibility when designing custom screening instruments.
  • Satisfaction Notifications:  Users now have the option to have automated satisfaction invitations and reminders sent to employees after they have worked a certain number of months at a company. This makes it easier to collect satisfaction data from employees at the appropriate time based on their start date. This automated invitation is turned on at the job profile level and results in participants receiving a system generated notification inviting them to provide feedback about their experience at a company.
  • Updates to timed screening questions: The time allotted to a user  on a timed screening question now starts when a user looks at a question and doesn't stop until the time expires. The timer no longer stops when the user closes out of the current question or proceeding to the next question.

If a question has a time limit an applicant will see a countdown showing the time remaining on the specific question so they know there is a time limit. When the time runs out, any answers will be saved and the user will be automatically advanced to the next question. Screening questions answers and the time used by an applicant are also saved in real time so if the user exits, or there is an interruption in connectivity, the user can start where they left off and net receive any additional time.

 

02/12/2021 - Release Date

  • Add Custom Image to Each SmartReq Landing Page:  Users can now add a custom image for each SmartReq that will appear in the applicant landing page when someone applies to the position. This allows for more customizable branding on each req. If a custom image is not selected the company default image will be shown.
  • Drill Down in the Turnover Cohort Dashboards:  Admins can now click on a given cohort of participants in the profile > dashboard > turnover screen and view the underlying participants that are represented in the chart.   • Admins Can Unlock Submitted Interviews:  Admins with the appropriate security can now unlock submitted interviews. Unlocked interviews will be removed from an applicants score until the interview is resubmitted.

  • Company Wide Dashboard: Users can now see insights from all their job profiles in one place. The new company dashboard can be seen as a new tab in the main navigation of the Journeyfront platform. To access the company dashboard talk with an administrator that can grant your user access.
  • Total Participants Displayed on Job Profile Cards: Users can now see the total number of participants in a job profile on the job profile card so they don't have to drill into a profile to know how many data points that particular position has.

  • Images and Videos Supported in Screening Questions: Users can now add images and videos to screening questions. This gives users more flexibility when assessing applicants in the screening process. Images and videos can be hosted by Journeyfront or linked to another hosted platform.

  • No Applicant Reminder Emails for Manually Added Applicants: When an applicant clicks on a Journeyfront application link and applies for a position on the Journeyfront platform they receive email reminders for 3 days if they do not complete their application process. When applicants are manually added as an applicant by an administrator, those applicants do not receive emails reminding them to complete their application.
  • Update to Adding Attributes to SmartReq: On the SmartReq attributes plan page (Hire > SmartReq > Setup > Attributes) the adding of new attributes user experience has been updated to make adding and creating attributes faster and more seamless with the rest of the setup flow.

  • Auto Passed Email and Email Check for admins: Newly invited customer admins are sent a link that, when clicked, automatically checks the users email account and takes them directly to setting up a password.

  • Separation Reason Added To Employee Job: An employee can leave a job for many reasons. Capturing this data helps us hone in on what attributes lead to certain types of turnover so we can get more accurate on where to make improvements. This new feature adds two new fields to the employee job profile so a user can add the reason an employee left and leave any notes. This data will be used in upcoming reports and analysis.
  • SepAdditional Security Updates: Security is a top priority and we continually make improvements to ensure our customers data is safe. With this latest release we have implemented real time monitoring of all end points with text alerts doing directly to the engineering team, as well as encrypting all data at rest.

 

3/27/2020 - Release Date

  • View All Screening Questions: The applicant scorecard just got a bit more exciting. There is now a new tab on the applicant scorecard that shows you all of the applicant screening questions in a single view. Previously you would have to hover over each applicant question to see the full responses. This feature will make it easier to review the applicant responses to your custom screening questions.
  • Score Qualitative Screening Questions: When an applicant answers a qualitative screening questions like "why are you interested in this position?" or "what are your salary expectations" these answers were not factored into the overall applicant score. Since the responses can vary infinitely it requires another person to read and decide how good the answer is. With the introduction of scoring qualitative screening questions you can now review and score each of those questions. This means more data can be factored into your applicant score and tracked through the process.
  • New Way To Start Interviews: Making sure every interviewer has the right link to the interview guide they need to use to evaluate an applicant can be a complicated process. To make it a little bit easier we have create a new way for interviewers to find and start a great interview. This includes a single link that every interviewer can use. They are asked which candidate they are interviewing and which guide they would like to use. They can even see a preview of the guide before getting started. This makes it easier to get your interviewers record all that great data right inside the Journeyfront product. 
  • Custom Ordering of Applicant Tasks: When asking for information from an applicant before you do any in person evaluating, it's important to get the most valuable information first. For this reason we have create the ability to order the questions your want to ask and the assessments you want the applicant to take in any order you like. Want to have a certain assessment first? We can do that too. It's super easy to set up right within the screening plan of you SmartReq.
  • New Assessment Report For Employees: The new assessment reports that were previously launched for applicants and now available for employees. These reports replace the legacy reports that can be see by clicking the report icon next to the employees name in the People or Participants pages.
  • Updated Score Tile Color Threshold: Working with our science team we have develops a more helpful threshold system for showing score colors throughout the system. Before a score of 3 would receive a color of grey to show an average score. Not great but not bad. This new update now aligns with the hiring decisions and would show a score of 3 as light green since someone who scores a 3 meets the expectations of the evaluation. The new color thresholds do not alter any scoring, they just give an extra bit of visual feedback to help interpret all your hiring data.
  • Updated Performance Buckets In Dashboard: In alignment with the research done on the distribution of performance across companies, we have update the performance scoring buckets found in the cohort analysis report. THis will provide a better view of how you are able to impact your hiring cohort performance.

 

2/14/2020 - Release Date

  • All New Assessment Reports: All assessment reports have been updated with new content and a new look and feel. This update also introduces a the new competencies report for current and past competency assessments. Assessments have also been updated with improved loading speed and printing functionality.
  • Hiring Team Member Names: When new hiring team and admin users are added to a custom account the user now has the ability to add their name if the user does not have an existing Journeyfront account.
  • Default Sorting of Applicants: The default sorting of applicants on the SmartReq > Applicants page has been updated to sort the newest applicants at the top of the list by default.
  • Misc Bug Fixes: Performance updates and cross browser compatibility issues have been resolved.

  • Interview Notes: A new tab on the applicant scorecard organizes and presents interviewer notes in an easy to read format that can also be printed. The interviewer notes can be easily shared with stakeholders in the product or via print or PDF export. 
  • Interviewer Effectiveness Dashboard: A new dashboard on the Profile > Dashboard tab shows how accurate each of your interviewers are at selecting applicants that will perform well in the job. This dashboard allows for a deep dive into the data to see all of the exact inputs that make up an applicant score. 
  • Interview Dates: The applicant scorecard and the multi-compare scorecard now show the data of each interview on the notes callout. This helps users know when the data was recorded for each applicant.
